In amongst the lies and denials emanating from Saanich new Mayor Richard Atwell, a retired software engineer, the City IT staff have admitted that they do install Spector 360 on their computers.
Having said that, is it typical of all municipalities in British Columbia?
Is the same software used on the BC Liberal Government computers?
Has it been superstitiously installed on the Opposition's computers?
Was it in use during the raid on the fired Health Researchers?
Did the BC Liberal Government fail to disclose that small detail to RCMP investigators in the BC Rail Trial and to the Defense Counsels?
The Ken Boessenkool affair? Everything was done by word of mouth! Not one note, nor email? Was Spector files requested?
Suggestion:
Should any further FOI's be sought from the BC Liberal Government, "Spector" would be a word to include, eh, and Gov(Mal)ware as well.

..... Amnesty International says the tool released Thursday, called Detekt, is designed for right activists and journalists but will be freely available to anybody who fears their computer is being used to monitor them.
Developer Claudio Guarnieri, a security researcher based in Germany, says Detekt can currently find eight different pieces of spy software, including FinSpy.
